 Triple H History:

He wrestled in WCW for a short time as Tera Rysing before making his WWF
debut, but little else is known about
the career of Jean-Paul Levesque. HHH, as he is now known, debuted in
early 1996 and used his connections as a
member of the "kliq" to quickly win the InterContinental Title from "The
Wildman" Marc Mero on October 21 of
that year. After having his valet, the lovely Sable taken from him by
Mero, HHH lost the IC belt to rookie Rocky
Maivia.  HHH was jobbed constantly after this in feuds with Golddust,
Mero, and Mankind before winning the King
of the Ring  tournament that summer. Most "insiders" attribute this
losing streak to an incident at Madison Square
Guardian earlier that year where the members of the Kliq (Shawn
Michaels, Razor Ramon, Diesel, and HHH)
embraced at the end of the show, which was to be Razor and Diesel's last
in the WWF. Michaels was the
Heavyweight Champion at the time and Razor (Scott Hall) and Diesel
(Kevin Nash) were gone, so the punishment
was levied on Helmsley.

Since winning the King of the Ring, however, HHH has enjoyed a
significant push, joining forces with Michaels and
his new valet, Chyna, once again to form Degeneration X. After defeating
Sgt. Slaughter in a "boot camp match,"
HHH won the title from Shawn Michaels in what couldn't really be
considered a match after Slaughter forced the
two men to wrestle. HHH is currently suffering from a knee injury but is
still working a feud with Owen Hart. Just
recently lost the European Belt to Owen Hart after Owen didn't wrestle
and Goldust subbed for him.  HHH then
won the title back a week before Wrestlemania when he tricked an injured
Owen to fight him for the belt.

At Wrestlemania, Owen and HHH met again.  This time Chyna was handcuffed
to Sgt. Slaughter so she could not
interfere.  But she still managed to interfere and HHH kept the belt.
During the same night Shawn Micheals lost the
WWF World Heavyweight Belt to Stone Cold Steve Austin and left the WWF
due to a back injury.  Since then HHH
has taken the job of leader of DX.  Recruiting another kliq member,
X-Pac, the New Age Outlaws BA BIlly Gunn
and Road Dogg. HHH dumped DX during a Match at Wrestlemania XV between X-pac and Shane. HHH took X-pac and pedigreed him, and ended their friendship for good. At Summerslam 99 HHH had a match for the world tittle HHH had steve austin beat but Jessie Ventura wouldn't count the three count. The next night on raw Triple H finally realized his dream to become the WWF world champ!! But then H got screwed out of the belt by Vince McMahon when Vince defeated H for the WWF World Title. Triple H would get his belt back at the 1999 Unforgiven in a 6 pack match. Then @ the 1999 Sur. Series H lost in a triple threat match to lose the belt to the Big Show.  But Finally THE GAME kicked the big show's ass in January to win back the Title. And I might Add That HHH Beat Everybody's ass To retain the belt at wrestlemania 2000
